Amazon Prime App Beware

I was uninstalling apps on my Galaxy Note 4 when I accidentially clicked on the Amazon Prime. I didn’t even know I downloaded it. Must have been bundled with nother app I downloaded. The next thing I see is a pop-up saying, Congratulations on your new Amazon Prime membership! WHAT? Yep, In a matter of 2 seconds I spent $101.13 all because I opened up an app. That’s it. No warning, no nothing, just charge me. Simply opening the Amazon Prime App will automatically charge you $101.13 for an Amazon Prime membership like it or not. At least at the time of this post. Talk about scammy. So I called Amazon customer support 1-866-216-1072 to get my money back. Then the Amazon customer support agent tells me I would have to wait 3-5 business days to get my $101.13. Isn’t that crazy?

So please be careful when opening Amazon Prime apps on your Android smart phone.
